If you are an adult, or a senior citizen (like me), you have to be careful about sitting for prolonged periods of time (e.g. traveling by car or airplane), since blood clots can form in your legs. If one of these clots breaks off, it can block up blood vessels in your lungs which will cause severe difficulty in breathing and in some cases (sadly) sudden death.
