Antonia M. Perry

Mrs. Perry is a Master’s Level Social Worker that holds both an LMSW (full social work license) and CAADC (Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor) in the state of Michigan. Mrs. Perry has worked in the social work field since 2003. Her experience began in the city of Boston, Massachusetts working with homeless and vulnerable pregnant women, linking them to both mental and physical healthcare. Mrs. Perry has worked in the State of Florida Prison system in a Therapeutic Community Program specifically with inmates that had a history of drug related crimes. Mrs. Perry taught reentry classes within the inmate population and held both individual and group therapy sessions. She has worked in all areas of mental health such as outpatient, inpatient and in the community serving the most vulnerable populations of Genesee County. Mrs. Perry acted as Clinical Supervisor for an outpatient therapy program which included monitoring and assisting other social workers to reach the goal of full licensure. Mrs. Perry has worked in all areas of substance abuse treatment, outpatient as well as inpatient settings assisting consumers in learning the skills to obtain and maintain sobriety. Her most recent endeavor includes work engaging in collaborative care with physicians, specialists and other behavioral health providers. Mrs. Perry is a staff member of MAT Programs (Medicated Assisted Treatment) in both Genesee and Lapeer Counties. Mrs. Perry received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Wheelock College in Boston, MA. She went on to pursue a Master’s Degree in Social work from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI.
